Hourly rate increase data represents the trend data percent increase from participants who submitted data for both the prior/current years’ study.

  • September 2023 – The recently published HCS Rehabilitation Salary & Benefits Report shows Physical Therapists (PTs) in long-term care facilities received higher pay increases in 2023 compared to PTs in hospitals and home health agencies. Staff Level PTs in long-term care facilities received an actual percent increase in pay of 3.70%, hospital PTs received an increase of 3.49%; and home health agency PTs received an increase of 3.23%.

  • Oakland, NJ, July 2023—The national average hourly rate for RNs in Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) increased 5.75% in 2023, according to the 2023-2024 CCRC Salary & Benefits Report. While RN rates still increased significantly, the 2023 increase reflects a decline from the 2022 RN hourly rate increase of 7.70%.
