Study Shows 2.61% Planned Salary Increase for LTC Corporate Execs in 2019

February 2019-- The 2018-2019 Multi-Facility Corporate Compensation Report, just published by Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS), reported an average planned salary increase of 2.61% in 2019 for long-term care corporate positions.  The results include larger revenue CCRCs/Nursing Homes, as well as multi-site organization executives.  The revenue size of participants ranged from $25 million - $5 billion.

In a national comparison by revenue size, CHRO total compensation pay ranged from $116,249 in those with revenue less than $50 million; $160,915 in revenue size of $50 million - $ 100 million; and $297,647 for those with revenue greater than $100 million.  Data reported reflect the national total compensation average. 

97.70% of long-term care systems offered 401(k)/403(b) plans. Participants reported an average match of 4.25% of salary, with an average maximum contribution of 4.60%.  The average eligibility period decreased from 6.35 months in 2017 to 5.80 months in 2018.
